Open registration for the five-week summer school and preschool fall classes begins Monday, March 22, at the well-known Child Development Center of the Camarillo United Methodist Church.

After a six year hiatus I recently returned to Nigeria. This time as a member of a team sent by the Council of Bishops of the United Methodist Church. The team consisted of three Bishops (California-Pacific, Iowa, and Sierra Leone) and three Conference Lay Leaders (California-Pacific, Sierra Leone, and Liberia). It was most humbling to be a part of this international team. Community United Methodist Church of Huntington Beach is another PWJ Covenant Congregation. They completed the Micah 6:8 bible study in early 2009. On May 30, 2010 they will participate in the annual Peace with Justice Sunday offering for the first time.
